Default Inconsistencies in Hazel Episodes

Has anyone noticed various inconsistencies in Hazel episodes?

1. Mr B's siblings
In the season 1 Thanksgiving episode "Everybody's Thankful but us Turkeys", Mr. B has a sister Phyllis and her husband Bob...they are never mentioned or seen again.
Mr. B's brother Steve and his wife Barbara are never seen or mentioned....but they suddenly appear in Season 5 as Hazels new family/employer

2. Milkmen
In season 1 Hazel serves the milkman breakfast(I don't recall his name)...Milkman # 1
Milkman #2 is the neurotic Fulton in Season 2"We've been so Happy Till Now"....Fulton seem to think he's Hazel's boyfriend, and appears to have been on the milk route for years.
Milkman #3 is the jovial and absent minded Claude Season 3 (The Retiring Milkman)....Claude was on the same route for over 30 years!......Were the others substitutes?

3. Mr B's law partner...
Harry Knoll or Harry Williams? Did he change his last name.....He was always some type of swinging single playboy bachelor, yet on the Frank Gifford bowling alley episode "Hazel and the Halfback" he had a daughter!...In a first season B/W episode "Dorothy's Obsession" he was the husband of one of Dorothys clients.

Just thought of another. One the recently shown "So Long Brown Eyes".....The entire show with Gus was supposedly set on a Saturday....Why did Harold have a lunch box, and complain that Hazel forgot to put in the cookies? Did he attend school on Saturdays?
I'm sure there are many more....perhaps some other fans could point them out. In the original producers defense.....Did they ever think we would be analyzing, dissecting and critiquing these shows almost 50 years after their original run?

How about the Barbara that breaks her leg that Dorothy has to go away to help with her kids. This is when Mrs. B disappears for 3 shows, the first episode explaining Mrs. B's absence "Dorothy Takes A Trip" was skipped for some reason on the Ant. TV airings. Is this the same Barbara that is married to George's brother? I don't think so, it seems to be a different Barbara.

Another thing I noticed, Hazel seems to have favorite names for characters, Harry, Harold, and other various Harrys pop up during the series run. And now 2 different Barbara's. I wonder if they used the Harry name so often because of producer Harry Ackerman, was this their way of paying tribute?

Angry My one compaint against Hazel

Here's another thing that has bothered me and really the only complaint I have against Hazel. Why is it that Hazel is always broke?? She has no rent, no clothes to buy, no food to buy, no car (except when a show is based on this premise and once again claiming Hazel's broke), no mortgage to pay, basically, Hazel has absolutely no expenses. She is not a slave, Mr. B pays her "more than most housekeepers" as it is said in one of the shows, so why is Hazel always broke when it comes to buying anything more than $50. If she wants to buy an organ, a club membership, a Christmas gift, a cheap used car, no matter what it is or how little it costs Hazel is broke. How is this possible, did she have a gambling problem or lose big at pool? THis is hinted at in the Steve Baxter shows where she apparently is quite the pool shark and she is also portrayed as being quite a card sharpie. So, again Why is Hazel always broke?

Here's another one......Where did Mr B attend college? In one of the B/W first season episodes it was Dartmouth(don't remember which episode). In seasons 2 "Hazel and the Lovebirds" he attended Yale....A few episodes later in "The Fire's never...." he attended Law School at the local "University",with the professor as his instructor! His family had to have the big$$$$ to send him to the two most prestigous Ivy's in the country!

Actually she did - she helped to send her nephew to college. I think she also would buy stocks (1 share at a time) and was always helping others out. I know she had insurance and all the stuff like that because she always mentioned it.
