I liked the theme to 'Phyllis' because it fit her character to a tee.
I didn't care much for the 'Rhoda' theme during the first couple of years because the 'la-la-la's' kind of got on my nerves. Once it became a straight instrumental theme in the later seasons, it wasn't half bad. |

I agree with everything you said. I really think the Phyllis theme is highly underrated. |

My favorite would be the Mary Tyler Moore Show theme, for the way it sounded and its lyrics.
I also really liked the way the Lou Grant theme sounded. The Rhoda theme wasn't bad, very catchy. And I have to admit, I don't even remember the Phyllis theme. |

The Mary Tyler Moore theme would have to be my favorite, but the Rhoda theme with the la la la kinda reminded me of a horror movie theme so I liked that a lot. LOL, I know I'm weird, but I have heard a lot of horror themes and a lot of them have that same high pitched singing la la la, whether or not the notes are the same, they all remind me of each other.

I don't remember the other ones at all, but the Mary Tyler Moore theme was catchy and upbeat.
