I was watching the episode "Lucy Is A Kangaroo For A Day" and got to wondering.
Mr. Irwin's Office: Does Mr. Irwin's office look almost like Mr. Mooney's office in the later California era? I've seen the lipoid domain releases of those episodes and thought that looks familiar when watching this episode. so I wonder if they used the same set for both offices? Lucy's Wig: Does Lucy's wig in this episode remind you of the hairstyle Rue McLanahan wore in the later episodes of The Golden Girls? Because in the scene where she loses her dress when a thread get caught in the in Jerry's bicycle wheel. She then leans in the statue where she gets the kangaroo costume from. The way she leans on it reminds me of Blanche Deveroux from Golden Girls. |

I noticed that they often recycled sets on "The Lucy Show", as many shows do because it isn't cost effective to construct brand new sets every week unless they just have to.
