Default Facebook

Since I spend a lot of my internet time on Facebook lately I rarely come here or anywhere else for that matter anymore. That just stinks! I really miss you all here as I have been a member since 2001. Is anybody else neglecting SO because of facebook? I want to stay connected here so I will attempt to visit more often. I see though that a lot of my old friends aren't here much anymore either. But I realize that time moves on as we do. But Facebook has reconnected me with some old friends whom I have lost touch with so that's a good thing! HELLO AGAIN SITCOMS ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been here before Facebook, during Facebook, and even after Facebook.

I think Facebook makes me want to call-up old friends, as a matter of fact!

I guess I'm the exception, because I probably spend more time here than on
Facebook.

Hi Marlene, and good to see you, SO friend. For many months last year, I wasn't on SO very much, but for the last few months I've been on several times. I'm also on FB; I like both SO and FB, except that I don't get to stay on either one for much time. It's turning out to be my busiest year at work yet. My goal is to at least visit each one daily even if for a few minutes. Besides FB, SO is the only board I've stayed with (like five or six years this April). I feel comfortable with the people on SO. As for FB, my goal has been to connect with family and relatives mainly, but also some friends (I have a few SO friends on FB). For me, FB's a vehicle to reconnect and stay in touch, and share something of myself and what I'm about, and learn something about other people. I don't usually post status's, play games, copy status's, join causes--it's just not my personality. Some people just post, stream-of-consciousness style, whatever is on their mind. That's fine; it's just not my thing. I plan to continue with both SO and FB. Take care, Marlene.

Facebook is too hard to see and not "my cup of tea." I have no interest for Myspace, Twitter, Livejournal, Facebook, blogs, etc.

I spend more of my free time on Facebook. Its a great way to connect with people. Also, where as SO focuses more on sitcoms, Facebook has sites for all sorts of shows, movies, music, literature...

Also, most of my best SO buddies like Billie, Cathy, Mattie, Kim, Jude, Kristen and Andrea don't post as much here anymore, if they post at all.

I too have started to spend more time on Facebook. I don't know what happened with me, the beginning of last year I was hardly ever on Facebook, and now I'm a bit addicted.

I check Sitcoms Online 2-3 times a week, but I'm on Facebook multiple times a day. Nothing against SO; Facebook just has more to offer.

I spend too much time on facebook. I was always one of those anti-facebook people who thought it was ridiculous and couldn't understand the appeal. Finally a friend convinced me to get on, and I was instantly hooked. I post there way more than I do here.

I've been thinking of limiting my time online in general though. I think I need to explore other methods of entertainment.
