Archie is already upset about the refrigerator breaking down, and then two Black repairmen show up to fix it. Later, everybody tells wildly different versions of what happened, relying on their own perspective.

The episode actually was very funny, as everybody remembers themselves being calm and mature while their opponents were idiots.

Since I was a HUGE fan of AITF, I have seen every episode at LEAST 10 times each. The thing about THAT particular epiosode is compared to the versions that MIKE, ARCHIE and GLORIA gave, Edith's version was comparatively less extreme. So therefore the audience would automatically assume that her's was closer to the truth.
