Default Does anyone care if season 3 is released??

It seems no one talks about wanting season 3 of My Three Sons to be on DVD. I for one have been waiting and waiting and waiting. Does anyone know if it is being planned for release. Why would CBS/Paramount stop at just season 2 of this hugely successful show????

I want season 3, but not split in two, like they did with seasons 1 and 2.

I think fans were upset with the seasons being split in two volumes, and even more upset with all the music changes in the episodes. CBS/Paramount really blew it big time with these DVD's, I guess they didn't learn from their hack job of Gomer Pyle USMC on DVD. There is always a chance the 3rd season will come out, but right now I'd say it's not looking good. I personally don't care either way as I'm not really a fan of the show.

I watched it as a kid but it is really outdated plus didn't it run for like 12 Seasons. Their no way it will continue with Paramount some smaller label would have to pick it up. I expect they have to pump the price and release it to limited numbers so all sale and they don't have several thousands in stock.

I like too see all old series from the 50 and 60 get released for the fans as long their enough of them. The 70 and 80s comedy their wouldn't be a lot more worth getting full released only the ones still uncompleted like The Bob Newhart Show,All in The Family,The Jeffersons,Welcome Back Kotter,Happy Days,Night Court,Newhart maybe and Perfect Strangers.

The 90s continue of Coach and i like too see Dave's World and John Larroquette and Dear John if possible depends of how many people are willing to buy a complete series set.

I thought the Gomer Pyle series was done well was Gomer singing cut on several.I don't care too much if it was as the comedy was what i want too see not the kind of gay music. I hate edits but along it's not part of the acting cut i don't mind. The music is a little bit different on Happy Days as the music is to do with it being the 50s and 60s so it looks weird listening to back up music from some other time.

Yes, several musical numbers are cut from the Gomer Pyle DVD's. I'm not really fond of some of the music either, but it's part of the episode and should not be cut. This music rights stuff is a bunch of legal hogwash. Jim Nabors really can sing, but I've always found it weird for Gomer to speak in his hillbilly voice, then whenever he sings all of a sudden he sounds like Caruso.

I'm not buying the DVD releases until all the B&W seasons are released music change or not. Only 3 more seasons to go then I'm satisfied with owning my fave seasons of My Three Sons. I enjoyed Tim Considine's role in that series.
