Question Charlotte's Acting

I give her a 10 because she was great as Mrs. G. Nobody could have played the part better.

I give Charlotte Rae a 9. Her character was great, but I was a bit disappointed
when she left FOL.

Ya haveta give Charlotte a ten. You just have to. No one else could have made Mrs. G more lovable and more endearing to so many people. I've said it before and I'll say it again: If I could pick a 3rd grandmother, she'd be it. lol.

I agree with JWood201, YOU HAFTA give CHARLOTTE a TEN!!!I mean, Charlotte was the base of the show...we all agree it wasn't the same after she left!I think it HAD to be great acting I mean, the woman only cried once.MAYBE twice in 7 years!I mean HELLO no one can REALLY do that.Well, maybe. And she hardly ever got REALLY mad, I mean yea she'd yell and stuff but as Charlotte said "They made me like I was Polly perfect,...which is ridiculous." I mean really.CHARLOTTE RULES!!

Alright. To be honest with ya'll, even though I loved Mrs. Gerrit, Charletts acting was not so good in my opinion. Im not going to rate her, because I loved the character, not the actress and to give her a low # would be sad to me- I mean, C'mon, thats Mrs. G!!!! oh yeah, is it just me, or does she always seem a little drunk? Im not suggesting anything! Dont be mad at me or any thing, k? But to me she always sounds like she just got back from the Cugalug bar

Charlotte's acting was fine to me in FOL. I have to say this and feel bad about it. She just wasn't the same Mrs. G in the reunion movie. I know she is much older and that probably has alot to do with it. It was just sad though. I missed the old Mrs. G.

Ok, uhhhh, what else, oh yes...whoever was talking about how she's not the same Mrs.G....I think it was the script.........it may have been Charlotte.....but I HIGHLY DOUBT it!I mean, to me, the SCRIPT was MUCH MUCH MUCH different.......maybe it's just cause I study TV and FOL.....I mean it.....I actually STUDY it, anyway, it's probably cause I STUDY it and have a pretty good idea of what lines they coulda changed and stuff......Mrs.G's advice.....shoulda been......not nessicarily different, just.........worded differently.I think.Anyway, I'll quit rambling now...
