Anyone remember the case that starts off with a man filming himself and saying he is about to commit suicide? I believe he did shoot himself after the video. I forgot the particulars of the case, but I need help refreshing my memory.
Also, which case is it where a man disappears due to a cult run by a female? I don't believe it was ever on Lifetime and have not seen it. |

There are a couple short threads around here about her. Here is Charles Southern's Charley Project page. It has some info about Terri Hoffman: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...n_charles.html |

I remember this one now that you mention it. Very bizarre and disturbing case.
The photographs of that woman Hoffman just gave me chills. Something in her expression just projected an arrogant and malice filled aura, there was just something utterly vile and loathsome about her. Almost like a female Charles Manson. I wonder if she's still alive. |

Wow, I never guessed they would be from the same segment. It's been many years since I've seen it. Thanks! I went to look for it on the unnamed site, but came up empty.

This is one of those segments I've never seen but have wanted to for years. I've read a lot about Hoffman and always wondered what became of her.

Yup as others have said it was the Charles Southern/Terri Hoffman segment. The creepy thing about that video was that the man was committing suicide because he had cancer and he said multiple doctors had diagnosed him, but when they did an autopsy no trace of cancer was found. And as far as Hoffman herself goes, I think I recall hearing that she had changed her name and now has a business where she sells paintings or photographs called "snapshots of heaven" or "angels of heaven" or something along those lines. Strange, and very creepy lady. |

Was she interviewed in the segment? Sounds very eerie! I really would like to see this one, and the others I haven't seen yet.
