Default The Honeymooners and I Love Lucy

The Honeymooners and I Love Lucy are two of the greatest sitcoms that where ever made! They show I Love Lucy,
On Hallmark channel. I hope this new channel bring back
some classic Gleason, C39's and L.eps.Why isn't this show on? Long as I can remember, three classic shows that always
was on tv,I Love Lucy, Three Stogges and The Honeymooners. The other two are still on but no Gleason?!

There are some classics that should never be off television. Among them are I Love Lucy & the Honeymooners. If anyone doubts the staying power of the latter, remember that for over 25 years, Ralph and Alice continued to be played with a 39 episode package!

...and that's 200 posts for me!

in the defense of the cable networks, the Honeymooners only had 39 eps so it's better fit for local syndication rather than cable tv.

The L.eps. kicks the C39 into center field. Over fifty eps. 39+ 80..The cable networks can put that in there pipe and smoke it. (In my Ralf Kramden voice) But I do hope that this new network Anntenna TV will air it.

I agree.Stations like Antenna-TV and ME-TV seem to be some of the only stations these days that understand what so many viewers still really want to watch. And it's not that the people running Antenna-TV and ME-TV are so smart,it's the fact that the people running most of the other stations are so dumb and clueless.....

That's so true....unfortuanly me-TV isn't in my area yet. Alot of these tv shows now of days is garbage. Anntenna tv and Me-TV is the new TV Land and Nick At Nite.

well...I wouldn't say that just yet (at least about ANTENNA TV since we don't have ME-TV). I will if they start airing "THE HONEYMOONERS", "BURNS AND ALLEN", "THE JACK BENNY SHOW" and other rarely seen shows like TV LAND used to. (and NICK AT NITE used to when they first started). And if they start showing old comercials, specials, etc. like TV LAND used to.
Don't get me wrong; I don't hate the channel. It's GREATthat they show most shows unedited, they don't have that split-screen ending, no logo in the corner, and none of those annoying "pop-ups" during the shows, but, sadly, I think it's just a matter of time before all that changes.
