Partridge Family coming to CTS January 31st
This Monday "The Partridge Family", on the heels of its well-deserved rebirth on Antenna TV, makes its long-overdue return to Canadian TV when it premieres on CTS at 7:30 pm, replacing "The Nanny", which will not be missed one bit. The new CTS schedule, complete with changes in times to all of its sitcoms effective Monday, is included here.
CTS Comedy Schedule For now, "The Nanny" is still shown as being in the lineup, but I would expect that to change soon. With its place in the lineup hopefully being secure, it means that CTS will now be showing 5 out of my Top 10 favourite sitcoms of all time as part of their schedule. The other 4: "Happy Days", "Gilligan's Island", "The Brady Bunch", and "Laverne & Shirley". The sad part about this is they are all on once a week, except for "Gilligan" which is on twice a week. I wish they would find some way to correct this and soon, but for now, I'm happy. I also think that the show should be on either directly before or after "The Brady Bunch". If you're going to have them both on the same day, it doesn't make sense to have them on 7 hours apart. It's more fun watching them together! |
