im sure all of us have had friends or famiily who didnt like a show and told you that it was no good and you ended up watching and liking it the show for me was that 70s show i had never seen it and a friend of mine told me that she had and that it was too silly for her so i didnt watch it for a long time until one day i caught an ep and liked it and now its one of my fave sitcoms what shows did your friends or family give a thumbs down to but when you watched it you ended up enjoying it?

Perfect Strangers and Whose Line is it Anyway. My dad couldn't stand either show and made no bones about it every time they came on.

I never really cared for "Perfect Strangers" but I am a "Whose Line" fan.

There is word of a revival of sorts coming up on the GSN network. Drew Carey is doing another improv. project.

btw, I wish more of "Whose Line" would come out on DVD.

I was fortunate enough to see a taping of WL in early 2001 when I visited several girlfriends in LA. It was great fun - but very long!!! One thing that is so funny about seeing tapings of TV shows (I also saw a taping of Jay Leno's Tonight Show in 1998) is that the sets look so tiny in person! They look so big on TV and in person look like miniatures of the set. The lineup was the regular cast of Drew Carey, Ryan Stiles, Colin Mochrie, and Wayne Brady with guest Jeff Davis.

I got to see one of those comedy tours that some of the "Whose Line" cast did after the show ended.

It was down it Atlantic City during summer of 2004 and the cast was Colin Mochrie, Brad Sherwood, and Greg Proops with Drew Carey showing up as an unannounced guest.

Drew Carey showed up to promote that new sketch show that was due that fall, "The Green Screen Show". It ultimately didn't do that great and it had a very brief run, remember that one?

I remember seeing the ads, but never watched the show. That was on the WB, right?

After WB canned it Drew took it to Comedy Central in 2005.
