Darn, Brian, you beat me to it. Actually, I've seen his birth year as both 1937 and 1941, so he might actually be 74 today!!!

Either way, my man is in his 7th decade, and he indeed deserves a VERY happy

It is! I got another one a few months later - I guess the earlier letter I'd written got to him after the later letter. I'd sent an index card for him to sign:
