Actors and Actresses who are(and if they're dead,were)American,in their career,played characters who spoke with a British accent.Example:William Shatner.Although he speaks English,2 of his characters,in 1961's "One Step Beyond" episode called "The Promise" ,and a 1957 episode of "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" called "The Glass Eye".spoke with a British accent.In every other role he's played,he spoke English.Know of any other actors besides William Shatner who played characters that spoke with a British accent?

I can think of 2 more:1)Hal Linden,who was on a last season "Hot in Cleveland" episode,in that one,played a character that spoke with a British accent.2)And in a 1966 episode of "Perry Mason"called "The Case of the Dead Ringer",the late Raymond Burr,played Perry Mason(of course)AND the murderer.a British seaman named Mr.Grimes

And one more:The late Lloyd Bochner.In the classic episode of "The Twilight Zone" called "To Serve Man",the 1964 episode of "Perry Mason"called "The Case of the Latent Lover",he characters spoke All-American.But in "The Golden Girls"episode he did he played a character who spoke with a British accent.
