Robert Reed hated this episode so much that he put finger to typewriter and sent Sherwood a memo about just how bad it was. Though some points were valid this is an enjoyable episode and you would never know from Reeds performance that he hated it.
It's nice to see the Bradys out on some location filiming, even if it is only a supermarket. When I first saw this episode in about 1990 I was surprised to see that the supermarket had posters saying it was open 24 hours. This is something that has only happened in England within the last 5 years or so as far as I know. Meena or Mirna or Merna is fun as the relative who is an actor and gives the Bradys the type of advice that Farnum doesn't want. I would love to know what detergent can get rid of oil and paint in one go and have clothes coming up new though I suppose it is the 'new' 'SAFE'! Carol utters the line "Gee, I never really thought of it like that" in response to something that Mike says. This line was one of the jokes in The Brady Bunch Movie. |

That supermarket really fascinates me. I wonder if it is still in existance.
Paul Winchell, who plays the director, also did the voice of Tigger. |
