An Explanation and an Invitation

Folks, I didn't want this to happen, but it did.

A popular Gunsmoke forum was abandoned by its sponsors, allowing trouble-makers to attack people without fear of a moderator doing anything. I found this site and began posting on both forums.

On the other forum, I made my signature: "If you would like to post on this thread but are afraid of retaliation, it also appears on a moderated forum at:

http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=631"

Unfortunately, it then changed my signature on every message I had ever posted, even when it did not apply.

If you're here from the other forum, registration is easy, the moderators will not permit harassment, and if you want to register under a different name than the one you use elsewhere, that's not against the rules. And if you want to follow more than one Gunsmoke forum, that isn't against the rules either.
