Howard Stern Attacks Jay Leno Again, Calling Him "A Crook"
Howard Stern Calls Jay Leno a "Crook" on TV Interview
Jan 18, 2011 by Robyn Ross Howard Stern says that Jay Leno is a "crook". In an interview on "Piers Morgan Tonight", the shock jock calls the NBC late-night host "insane" and accuses him of stealing sketch ideas. "Jay is a crook and the world knows exactly what he's up to. He steals a tremendous amount of material," says Stern. The New York Post quoted Stern as saying, "This guy's ripped off like 10 major things from my show." Stern also adds he's baffled that Leno has beaten fellow late-night host David Letterman in the ratings. "It's beyond my comprehension," Stern says. "America must be filled with morons who at night lay in bed -- the ones who are watching him, they must be in a coma." Stern's interview airs Tuesday at 9/8c on CNN. http://www.tvguide.com/News/Howard-S...o-1028015.aspx |

...he's "crazy"- like a fox, because he KNOWS what Middle America wants to see. No matter what he does, even if he delivers "mediocre" comedy material (or "steals material" from Howard Stern), his personality is such that viewers are on "his side". Notice how he goes out of his way to "gladhand" the front rows of his audience each time he opens "THE TONIGHT SHOW"? Have you ever seen any other late-night host do that? "Boy, if Jay is that friendly with his audience, I like him, too!", most viewers smile to themselves. And that's Leno's secret weapon...that's why he'll continue to host "THE TONIGHT SHOW" until he feels it's time to leave the stage....is five more years an accurate prediction?
