This week FOX will premiere the 10th Season of American Idol

American Idol X will feature a 1st and a 2nd

This will be the 1st time American Idol does not feature British Record Producer Simon Cowell and this will be the 2nd time AI does not feature Paula Abdul

Returning to AI will be Host Ryan Seacrest and Bass Player Randy Jackson returns for his 10th Season and The Judge of AI

and also, exiting AI is Ellen DeGeneres

Joining AI X are 2 NEW Judges:

Boston Bad Boy Steven Tyler and The Girl From the Block known as J-Lo

Steven Tyler is the Father of Actress Liv Tyler and he is the Leader of the Famed Heavy Metal Rock Band Aerosmith who had a string of Pop & Mainstream Hits such as "Walk This Way", "Love in an Elevator", "Dude (Looks Like a Lady)", "Livin' on the Edge", "Cryin'", "Crazy" and "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" Written by Famed Super Songwriter Diane Warren

Aerosmith has also appeared in the film Wayne's World 2 The Sequel to Wayne's World

J-Lo on the other hand has had a string of Pop & Dance Hits herself such as "If You Had My Love", "Waiting for Tonight", "Love Don't Cost a Thing", "Jenny from the Block" and 2 songs w/Famed Legendary Rapper LL Cool J

The Former AI Judge has been on the show for the 1st 8 Seasons and now, she's going back to her old roots

2 weeks ago, Paula debut a Brand New Series on CBS called Live to Dance in which she also serves as the show's Executive Producer and Judge

The other judges for the show are Dancer/Choreographer Travis Payne and Singer/Songwriter/Dancer Kimberly Wyatt

and the host of the show is Australian Emcee Andrew Günsberg better known as the host of Australian Idol

Paula Abdul is best known as a Dancer for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 1980's

But after leaving the Lakers, she went to become a Dancer/Choreographer

She is also a Singer/Songwriter who's had a string of Pop, Dance and Soul Hits such as "Knocked Out", "(It's Just) The Way That You Love Me" and a string of #1 Hits such as "Straight Up", "Forever Your Girl", "Opposites Attract", "Rush Rush", "The Promise of a New Day" and her 1st #1 Dance Hit "My Love Is for Real"

Travis Payne is a choreographer who has worked w/such acts as Pop Queen Madonna, Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Faith Hill, J-Lo, Ricky Martin, Britney Spears, Usher and Beyoncé

Kimberly Wyatt is a Former Member of The Pussycat Dolls who had 4 Top 10 Hits such as "Don't Cha", "Stickwitu", "Buttons" and "When I Grow Up"
