As interesting as all of that is, the most interesting bombshell in the piece involves the future plans for the franchise. Universal and Moritz are already banking on the film being a hit, so plans are underway for a sixth installment in the series. Moritz and Diesel are currently hammering out the ideas. "Vin and I have had numerous conversations about what that might be. And we're starting to get serious about it right now. We just finished the movie like 4 or 5 weeks ago and we just needed a break, and now we're gonna start focusing on that." Johnson's series, meanwhile, will have to wait until after a 'Fast 6' gets rolling, but could move into development at some point later this year.

They seriously need to stop making these after this new one about to come out in April. I think 5 is enough. Dwayne Johnson is gonna make this movie into a tv show?

No, they meant that his spin-off might turn into its own movie series.

Why should they stop? If there are fans of them and they make money then let them make them. I'm not a fan of the Fast and the Furious franchise or the SAW films, but I don't think they should stop just because I don't like them. I just simply won't watch them.
