None of the above, I can't see FOX canceling their meal ticket anytime soon.

I'd say Adult Swim or even Comedy Central.

I think It'll end.

"The Simpsons" is the Wal-Mart of TV...you can't seem to get rid of it!

The Simpsons will be on untill Matt Groening or one of the voice actors dies. Its been around far too long for it to ever be cancelled. And, if they where to get cancelled, i can no way see another brodcast network picking it up. The Simpsons are not for any of these networks. Its trying to put Fraiser on FOX, the damn shows too smart for the network. A cabel network may pick it up at the right cost, but not 400,000 an episode for all the voices. But a cabel outlet like Comedy Central, Adult Swim or even TBS could do, with a good price that is.

Frasier on FOX? EWWWW!! I can just see Niles and Frasier cringing right now!
Personally I think they should have ended it a long time ago, but it's amazing that it's lasted so long! I think it would die quickly on another network.

Honestly, I hate the Simpsons and am glad I don't watch it. Who cares if a member of the cast dies legitimately? This decade, the Simpsons will finally be future endeavored by the network, maybe after the 25th season? The FOX network's stupidity and the stupid floating timeline problem, all of Homer and Maggie's children should be adults in real life by now and they (Homer and Maggie) can have some grandchildren. It's gonna have to end one way or another. We shouldn't have let it surpass Ozzie & Harriet.

Why'd you think I call "The Simpsons" The Wal-Mart of Television?

Like Wal-Mart, they're TOO powerful to get rid of and Wal-Mart seems to take over the world...and I think "The Simpsons" ARE taking over the world. They even made a song that they'll NEVER stop "The Simpsons"....

I don't care if its like WalMart. It's not a Meet The Press of 60 Minutes. I just want it to end forever this decade.

Default "IF"?

No, no- I believe Fox will keep it in production through its 25th season (2013-'14), then end it once and for all. Repeats will continue to be seen in perpetuity through their syndication arm {and any other outlet who wants to carry it}. All good [or bad] things eventually come to an end.....

This thread is silly and pointless speculation. The show is still doing well and Fox will continue to air it as long as the ratings are good. If the show is ever axed by Fox, it's doubtful that another network would want to pick up a show that's over 20 years old.

Believe me, this decade, The Simpsons will end, one way or another. I don't care if its still doing well. I hope the ratings decline soon.

Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Cw, are the easy guesses, but I bet MTV would jump on the simpsons and maybe even Spike.

And it just might.I've heard, that ,if the voice actors DO NOT accept a 45%pay cut,the show is history as far as FOX is concerned, because FOX has threatened to drop it.Questi9on:Will anyone miss it?
