by Robyn Ross

The "Jersey Shore" cast's 15 minutes of fame aren't up yet: Thursday's premiere was MTV's most-watched series telecast to date.

A whopping 8.4 million people tuned in to the Season 3 premiere, which followed the gang back to Seaside Heights, N.J.

Season 2, which was filmed in Miami, debuted in July to 5.3 million viewers.

Bully for them. I really could care less about these people. If people like em', no harm done.

"Jersey Shore" Breaks Records Again
by Chris Harnick
posted Jan 14th 2011

"Jersey Shore" scored record ratings -- again.

The MTV reality show grabbed 8.6 million viewers, topping the record set by last week's premiere by 2 percent. In the 18-49 demo, the show was seen by 4.4 million viewers.

For the record, it beat "Off the Map" and "Grey's Anatomy". [EW]

The most embarassing thing I've done in a long time: order Jersey Shore seasons on DVD. I sadly became hooked after one friggen episode.

My friends here kept on insisting that I have to watch this.

I bought the first season on DVD for my sister and I asked her for it so I can watch. I watched the first season and I couldn't get into it.

She insisted that Season 2 "is better" but I don't know...

Also, everyone hates me since I got to meet two of them and I don't really care about the show.

However... I actually like Jwoww so I'm looking forward to her book tour.

For me, it is trash TV at its best, which I am a big fan of when it's done right. I hated everything about the show (especially Snooki) until I took the time to watch it. Now, Snooki is my favorite. I think Jwoww is funny, but she's definitely the least attractive of the girls. The guys are all douches, but still entertaining.

I think Jwoww is the most attractive of them.

As far as the guys go, I really can't stand Ronnie (as well as this on-and-off thing going on with Sammi)

"Jersey Shore" Breaks Ratings Records Again
by Chris Harnick
posted Jan 21st 2011

"Jersey Shore" continues to shatter ratings records for MTV.

According to the Live Feed, Thursday's episode, featuring the Snooki arrest fallout and JWoww's breakup, was seen by 8.9 million viewers.

This is MTV's largest audience for a series telecast ever -- the previous record was set a few weeks ago after the season 2.5 premiere. Last week's episode had 8.6 million viewers.

"Jersey Shore's" audience is about two times the size of NBC's "Community". Just sayin'.

Obviously, none of them are classy individuals, but to me, out of all the girls, Jwoww looks the most like a white trash bar whore.
