Zombie lovers, this is for you: The Walking Dead will hit Blu-ray and DVD shelves March 8.

Anchor Bay is releasing the collected six episodes of the surprise hit AMC series based on the Robert Kirkman-written zombie comic on a two-disc set, with extras including a making-of documentary, a look at last year’s Comic Con panel, which helped launch the show, zombie makeup tips, a sneak peek into season 2 with Kirkman and more.

$49.99 is the price for Blu-ray, $39.99 for the DVD.

As a recap: The show premiered on AMC on Halloween and became the most-watched drama in cable in the adults 18-49 demo. It also was one of the most acclaimed shows of last year.

As fans await more confirmed news about the second season of AMC’s "THE WALKING DEAD", the first round of episodes of the hit zombie series is heading to DVD and Blu-ray in two-disc sets next month.
