Just FYI...he was also Ted Baxter in The MTM Show and the father in Too Close for Comfort. LOL And yes he did many other voice over jobs...usually commercials. |

He was indeed the narrator of Super Friends!! I don't know about any other voice work - I'll defer to Kristen or Leigh Ann on this one.

he was definitely the best announcer for the Superfriends - he really added a lot to the show with his deep booming voice!

Ted also was the voice of The Flash when that character made a one-shot guest appearance on Super Friends.
Some other well-known actors provided voices for the first incarnation of Super Friends, including Olan Soule as Batman, Casey Kasem as Robin, and Norm Alden as Aquaman. Norm also did Plastic Man when that character made an appearance (GEEC episode). |

...narrated several of Filmation's superhero cartoons on CBS in the late '60s, as well as their version of "JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH" on ABC. At the same time, he guest-starred in several TV dramas (often portraying a police lieutenant), and was the narrator in the opening title sequence of "RUN, BUDDY, RUN" (CBS, 1966-'67).

This explains that strange narration at the beginning of The Superfriends. "It all started in a 6000 watt radio station in Sacramento..."!!!
