Season 2 DVDs (not music related) - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Had season one for a couple of years and really liked it. Due to music issues, I'd delayed buying further seasons. I found an Amazon sale this summer where seasons 1-4 were packaged together and were pretty cheap(one day sale). Anyway, I bought them and just opened them at Christmas.

I've been watching the season 2 discs. While watching the episode "Big Money" where Ritchie is on a game, show, I noticed 2 things.

1) There are 2 points where the video takes a turn for the worse. It's pretty bad for a minute or 2. The first time I noticed it was when the Cunningham's were talking in the kitchen. It stays bad until the scene switches to Arnold's, where it looks great again. The next time is near the end of the episode when Howard and Ritchie are talking in Ritchie's room.

2)My second observation is regarding the closing credits. It lists Linda Purl as Gloria, but I didn't see her. Did I overlook her? Was she edited out? Are the credits incorrect for that episode? THe other 3 or 4 persons listed are on there.

1. If I remember correctly, I think the parts that don't look as good are the parts that were edited out of the syndicated version. Possibly, instead of completely cleaning up the full version, they took the already clean syndicated version and edited back in the parts they had previously taken out.

2. I haven't seen that episode recently, but it is possible she did not appear in it. I think there was an episode or two in the first season where Gavan O'Herlihy was credited as Chuck but did not actually appear in the episode.
