Like It Or Not, 'Friends' Was One Of The Most Influential Sitcoms Of All Time
When talking about influential sitcoms in tv history, you hear about I love Lucy, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Seinfeld, etc. Even though I am not a big fan, 'Friends' needs to be added to that list. Here's why...
1. It launched the careers of everyone involved and made Jennifer Aniston a movie star. 2. The Rachel Haircut 3. The opening theme was a top 10 hit 4. Friends was the whole meaning behind NBC's must see tv Agree? Disagree? |

Agreed but I'd say the major reason was because it was just one of the most well-written, funny shows with a great cast of actors/actresses that exhibited a great chemistry with one another. Not to mention great secondary characters like Gunther and other family members of the Friends.
