We came up with this high style idea about three beautiful private-eyes. They were named Alison, Katharine and Lee and we called it “The Alley Cats.”

"The Alley Cats" does a sound a bit sleazier, but I think it probably would have succeeded, regardless. The likeability and beauty of the three stars, along with the basic concept was a winner, no matter what the name.
