Talk about your favorite episodes! I would love to hear what they are! One of my all time faves is the one where Jennifer Marlowe (Loni Anderson) played a dumb blonde....LOL Actually, the entire staff at WKRP was in on that one, Mr. Carlson played a very dedicated, hard worker along with Herb Tarlek....I still laugh when I think about that episode, it was so funny to see the reaction of the guy that was 'reporting' all this to Mother Carlson. She knew by what he was telling her that Andy Travers was up to something, and she guessed right, too!

I have so many. The phone cops one is great. Johnny "You know the phone cops!!" I also like Fire in the Flem building. The one with the remote at Dells stereo and appliance. The softball episode. I like these 2 because Bucky is in them and that was a great character. The one when little Arthur comes to th station.
What a great show, I hope it will be shown again!! |

My favorite Episode was when Venus was teaching a gang member about the Atom (Neutrons and Protons), and how he related it to gangs controlling a particular neighborhood. I thought that was very funny, particularly when it was discovered that Johnny was listening the whole time and finally understood science.

Yea the two shows with Bucky were great. Lets see, I'm sure the Turkey episode gets the most responses, "As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly". The one with the Russian trying to defect was very good, the one with Hoyt Axton was good. Maybe the one with the British group, what was the name, oh yea, "Scum of the Earth", that one was wild. Rock and Roll, babies!

My ABSOULTE favorite one is where Herb and his family are supposed to be featured on the show REAL FAMILIES...only the camera crew shows up at his house as a surprise the day before they were supposed to!!!!The beer can on the night stand,he says he's taking his family to church and he's really banging on a synagog door....its very funny. Another good one is when Mrs. Carlson is drinking at the station and she calls Andy "Cowboy" and puts her hand on his knee! Then she sings "Someone to watch over me"while running her fingers through Herbs hair!Funny.

Real Families ... heh heh heh. I love it! They drive around aimlessly looking for a church, then after beating on the door of one for awhile someone points out it's a synagogue.
![]() It's hard for me to have a fav, but Mr. Carlson for President might have that little extra edge for me. |

What about Less Nessman's imaginary walls for his office. I thought that was also funny as well.
I grew up not far from Cincinatti and I could relate to much of what was being said in the series. What a great series, I just wished it had lasted longer than it did. |

One more note about the Real Families ep....about at least HALF of us have to admitt that if Real Families showed up at OUR house a day early it would go pretty much the same bad way!!!!I moved to this neighborhood over 2 years ago and when I drive through it with my mom she says "Is that your church?"and I grumble "errr..ummm....ahhhh.."when the neighbors kids ring the bell bright and early Sunday morning and I'm hiding the night befores beer cans......I can relate Herb, dude!!!!

Well since I posted in the "weakest episodes" topic a few days ago I should probably post here... it's just harder picking only a few favourites.
As I mentioned, "Real Families," "Filthy Pictures," "Who is Gordon Sims," those are all great. I LOVE "Most Improved Station," partly because I think it's underrated. "Up & Down the Dial" is great too; a good way to end the series, even though it wasn't planned that way. They're all pretty decent, like I said it's hard to pick just a few favourites. |

Actually I have voted, but as far as I know you can only vote once.. unless I'm just a tool and don't know how to vote more than once.

There so many good ones. Filthy pictures, and Dells remote are terrific. But how about the one about the bomb threat at the station where Johnny and Venus had to brodacast from the transmitter way out in the middle of nowhere. The one about teh tornado was great too.
