I was kind of curious about this--
I wonder there are more men or women here, and if said men/women are older or young. So, if you feel comfortable, just put your age/sex. I myself am a 20 year old male. I sadly wasn't old enough when a lot of these cases occurred to help, but I used to watch the show all the time around 1995-1996 (I remember it was during the height of the OJ Simpson trial so it definitely has to be '95-'96). |

44 year old male.
And I have watched UM since the Raymond Burr/Karl Malden specials. I own the "Bizarre Murders" DVD set, but I can't recommend it as the video quality isn't that great. |

UM was my favorite show through Middle and High school, I watched regularly until it was moved to Friday night. I later watched re-runs on Lifetime and continue to watch it today on Lifetime/Spike and the site that shall not be named. I own the Mysterious Legends DVD set (a gift) - although I don't think most of them are that mysterious when you actually look at the facts. |

25 year old male.
I used to watch Unsolved Mysteries with my parents and grandma when it was on NBC. Then, once it went to Lifetime, I watched it almost every day. One of the best and most productive shows ever in the history of television. |

I'm a 23-year-old woman. I suppose I must have watched on NBC initially, when I was a very small child. I watched irregularly on Lifetime during junior high and high school. A few years ago, I decided to look up some episodes on that particular unnamed website, to see if they were still as scary as I remembered. They were, and I couldn't stop watching.
I love UM. There's nothing else like it. |

I've been watching UM since it started in 1985 - A lotta kids my age at that time didn't watch true crime shows or whathaveyou. As the old saying goes, "truth is stranger than fiction" I have been ever hooked ever since. You couldn't make this stuff up - I'm referring to the unsolved homicide and missing person cases. I learned that there are times one has to observe unfortunate dark side of life to really appreciate what they have Not to mention that the theme music really chilled me to my core! |

lol the a/s/l game from back in the AOL days....
43/f Retired, grown kids, love goofing off as much as possible on the UM boards. ![]() I got married in 1985 and moved to a place with only 1 tv station. By 1987, I bought a house and had access to normal tv. I started watching UM regularly around that time, and in the early 2000s I watched it almost daily on Lifetime. |

I've been watching UM for over 10 years. Have over 30 VHS tapes filled with UM episodes, strictly from when it was originally aired on Lifetime. I want to convert my VHS tapes onto DVD but it would cost a fortune to have it done. |

24 year old male. My parents used to watch UM so I kind of started watching in the early 90's, back when it used to air with Rescue 911. Then my grandmother and I would watch the lifetime reruns when they would air back-to-back episodes at eight and nine o'clock.

I hardly know anyone my age who watches the show. I've been a big fan since junior high. Sometimes one of my roommates turns on the new version, so I retreat into my room and watch the old one instead.
