"Dexter's" Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter Getting a Divorce

Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter, the stars of Showtime's hit series "Dexter", are getting a divorce, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

"Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce," read a joint statement from their reps.

Hall, 39, and Carpenter, 31, met on the set of "Dexter", where they play foster siblings. The pair married on Dec. 31, 2008.

Hall was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2009 and finished treatment earlier this year. He won best actor in a drama both at this year's Golden Globe Awards and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
