Soooo.... before we met Roger, was it ever said if Marion was an only child?

So much discrepancies on the show.

From ages to who is related to who...

What makes you think that Marion was an only child?

I think before Roger arrived on the scene the only member of Marion's Family we ever heard about (although she was unseen until late in the series) was her mother whom she always called Mother Kelp. At least when Howard's niece K.C. moved in she arrived on the Cunningham's doorstep with her father who was Howard's estranged brother. So at least we knew what the family connection was with her.

Yes, that's one reason. And we have heard about Uncle Ben but it seems that Marion's side of the family if she has siblings is very estranged from her..

Maybe mad at her for marrying Howard?

EDIT: How many siblings does Marion have?

There is an episode near the end of the series where Marion and Joannie are visiting Mother Kelp and Marion confronts her about the way she treats Howard. It turns out Mother Kelp was against Marion and Howard marrying because she was scared Marion wouldn't have time for her anymore if she got married. Perhaps since Mother Kelp was against Howard and Marion's marriage she turned the rest of the family against them and that's why we never see them or hear about them? Just a theory.
