I still remember I first learned about it when I picked up the morning newspaper and saw the headline at the top of the front page: "The
Dream Is Over" next to John Lennon's photo. A sad day indeed for Beatles fans and Lennon fans. |

Here's an adorable and touching clip of Paul McCartney crying after John's death. |

Imagine if John was still with us today...
Would we all shine on? |

I had the day off from work and had the chance to listen to John's music all day. I listened to two Beatle albums (Rubber Soul, Abbey Road) and two solo albums (Imagine, Walls and Bridges). John was the greatest songwriter to ever live and I'm glad that we will forever have his music to listen to and be inspired by. R.I.P. John.

So much great music released during an 18-year span (1962-1980). For me, that is John's legacy, not his tragic, awful and untimely death.

He was an amazing artist and incredible human. Though Paul was my favorite Beatle, I love John as well.
