A question:
I've read people here saying (to use an example) Rob (from the Hammond case) should be given hypnosis to see if he can remember the license plate of the truck..Do cops actually administrator hypnosis to bring up long ago or buried memories? Does it actually work? |

Personally, I've read quite a bit about hypnosis and hypnotism and I believe that both have been largely discredited within the psychiatric and legal communities. It's unreliable and there's no actual way to telling if the subject genuinely remembers what has occurred or is in such a highly suggestive state they are simply parroting information given to them.

And I certainly don't think it should even be used as evidence in a court of law |
