Default Lucy and the Monsters

So, I am watching "The Lucy Show" Season 3. And first, you have to get this DVD set. GREAT! that's all I can say.

In the episode "Lucy and the Monsters" in the scene where Lucy and Viv are being strapped to a gurney, as the scene fades out, I believe that is Maury Thompson that accidentally steps into the shot.

Thank Goodness CBS is releasing these shows....great fun!

You mean the guy walking behind the mummy? That's Gale Gordon.

No he steps in front of the camera as the scene fades out. Look at the right side of your screen.

My problem in seeing what you're seeing may be that FedEx hasn't delivered my DVD yet, so I'm watching this scene from a clip on Youtube. And that clip is from an old syndication cut which may be edited. When the scene fades, all I see to the right side of the screen is that werewolf, who seems to be dragging a stone wall. I don't see anybody else there, and the screen then suddenly goes black.

OK. When you get it, watch and tell me you don't see it.

Okay, will do. I've got the DVD set now, but I'm only up to the 6th episode. But once I get there, I'll check it out. You're probably right about that.

Okay, I've finally caught up to this episode tonight and I see what you're talking about. There is definitely a person there as the scene fades. But all I see is part of one side of a face, barely. How can you tell it's Maury Thompson?

I believe it is him. Not 100% certain, but pretty certain.

This was a brand new episode for me.......quite a change of pace and Gale Gordon really chewed up the scenery in this one--he must have a blast doing it!
