Confused Where Would You Rank 'The Munsters' Munster Koach As Far As Famous TV Cars?

The Munsters appeared for only two years, from 1964 to 1966. The father, Herman Munster (played by Fred Gwynne), looked like Frankenstein’s monster. Mother Lily (played by Yvonne DeCarlo) and Grandpa (played by Al Lewis) were vampires. Son Eddie (played by Butch Patrick) was a werewolf. The only normal family member was niece Marilyn (played by Pat Priest). But to get the Munsters around required another cast member: the Munster Koach. Designed by custom-car expert George Barris, this was a 6-door touring roadster with a 1927 Model T bucket affixed to the rear end. The Munster Koach had a four-on-the-floor 300 horsepower 289 Ford Cobra V-8 engine (from a 1966 Mustang GT), Isky cams, and numerous other performance hardware. There was also Drag-U-La, the dragster Grandpa built to win son Herman’s car back when he lost the family car in a drag race. George Barris also designed Drag-U-La.

Those were such memorable vehicles. The story where Lilly buys the 2 cars to be put together as the family Koach was novel.

Other famous TV cars: The Beverly Hillbillies' truck, the General Lee (Dukes of Hazzard), the Batmobile, Green Hornet's car (Black Beauty iirc), and Ralph Malph's hot rod (Happy Days).

Yes! And I've seen most of the Monkees eps so I shouldn't have. Good catch.

I think also the old purple station wagon from The Flying Nun was memorable. And of course the school bus from The Partridge Family.

I agree, a very interesting car. But are we limited to the 60's? I can think of a ton of great tv cars from decades past, including the ot' years of the new millenium! haha: Stair car anybody? (There's always money in the bananna stand!)

I mean really! look at this list of the top ten tv show cars, the munster one isnt in there, but wouldnt it be cool to take a closer look at the plausibility of the batmobile, the speed racer mach 5.... Personnaly I still like the stair car. (If we arent limiting this to 60's cars)
