Default Christmas Shopping

This year...I had to cut something and it was Christmas Shopping and giving my family gifts.

Well...I really don't have the heart to give anyone anything this year.

And I'm on the process of getting SSI/SSDI and if I get a check from them...I'll give my family 1/2 or put it in a CD in their name. I'll also give them an ultimate gift in 2012 if I ever get the money saved...a weekday trip to Orlando!

Yes, I started my Christmas shoping. I don't plan on spending a lot on my family. I'll get thme something, but this year has been rough and I don't feel like spending a bunch of money on my family.

Also, I will be sending out my Christmas cards. I enjoy doing that.

I got one thing so far. Thankfully, I don't have that much to buy.

I've started (mostly online), but I'll do most of my shopping once I graduate and actually have the time.

I'll do some very early one a.m. during one of the many sales...if you're not buying electronics many of the prices mimic Black Friday.

(I meant to ring in sooner) I stayed away from the crazy places but I did go to a Bed, Bath and Beyond near me. Wasn't crowded at all - got there around 8:30 am - used my 20% off coupon good til 10 am - this one had toiletry and food departments, so I now have enough soup, razors, etc. to least me for 9 months. And enough Kashi Go Lean for four!

I'm only doing a small amount of Christmas shopping this year. My husbands family decided not to exchange gifts & on my side we're only getting gifts for the 4 kids.

I'm not out of work necessarily (I just don't at the moment, I'm a student), but I don't really plan on getting much- my family doesn't exchange gifts a lot, just cards and a little money. I try to focus on the true meaning more
