Bill Condon Teases Breaking Dawn

Now in production is the final Twilight entry, Breaking Dawn, which is being split into two movies by Summit Entertainment, much as Warners broke up the final Harry Potter.

Director Bill Condon is at the reigns and already teasing the upcoming finale with the following image: a bright picture of Bella's (Kristen Stewart) arm in a bed with feathers.


The beginning of the end hits theaters on November 11, 2011 -- quite a long ways away.





Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to Jacob Black, Bella Swan has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point.

Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Releases Another Honeymoon Photo

The folks over at Summit know where the Twi-hard interest lies when it comes to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.

Broken into two parts, the first segment of Stephenie Meyer's tome sees weddings, honeymoons and pregnancy before the lights blare and we have to wait an entire year to see the fruits of Bella and Edward's saucy labors.

Now who wants to see grotesque pregnancies and bloody deliveries -- or heck, even weddings -- when you can dig into the hot honeymoon stuff as Bella and Edward finally give in to their lust?





First, we saw the feather aftermath. As Twi-hards know, the vampiric Edward is so crazed with passion during sex with Bella that he bites pillows like a growling dog, sending feathers this way and that.

Next, we got a shot of tenderness -- Edward and Bella in a naked embrace, before the pillows were ripped apart.

And now we've got our first shot of Isle Esme's beach.



If the Summit folks continue this backwards progression, we're sure to see some skinny-dipping or wedding shots soon enough.

Breaking Dawn First-Look Image: Jacob Black Runs in the Rain

The image shows Jacob (Taylor Lautner) holding a piece of paper and running in the rain. Unfortunately, this is the one time he's actually wearing a shirt.

Summit Entertainment's Twilight franchise is finally coming to a close and this afternoon they've released the first teaser poster from the first half of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn that gets a bit dark (much like the story).

Directed by Bill Condon, the first half of Breaking Dawn arrives in theaters November 18.

Sneak Peek of First Breaking Dawn Footage: Bella and Edward's Wedding

MTV.com has posted a snippet of the footage of moviedom's most anticipated marriage as Bella walks down the aisle towards her vampire groom. We see Edward (in white tie and tux with tails) but only the back of Bella's diamond-clipped hair.

A sketch of her bridal gown was previously released but we know you can't wait to see the real thing, and of course, that first kiss as vamp and wife.

Yes, Stephenie Meyer Has a Cameo in Breaking Dawn

It's not really news to Twihards that Twilight author Stephenie Meyer will have a cameo in Breaking Dawn -- Part 1, as Summit Entertainment confirmed today.

Fans are pretty sure they've already spotted her as a guest at the Swan-Cullen wedding. That's apparently Meyer on the left, seen standing up as Bella (Kristen Stewart) walks down the aisle.

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and producer Wyck Godfrey also make brief appearances in the film, which opens Nov. 18.





Meyer had an uncredited cameo in the first film of the series, Twilight, as a customer dining on a veggie burger in a scene with Bella and her dad (Billy Burke).

Actually, mom looks like she's about to cry. It's not every day you give your daughter away to a vampire, even one as dreamy as Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson).
