![]() They have been paired off in several episodes now. Which got me to wondering, is the rest of the cast necessary?! Would you tune into a Brian/Stewie spinoff if they ever tried one? |

It is true the show is really downplaying Brian and Meg lately, though Peter and Lois still seem to be highlighted a lot.
I don't know. I've found this year's shows much more enjoyable than the past couple of seasons (they've tried to make the plots more streamlined and focused, and largely succeeded), but I honestly think it's getting time to think about ending the show. A friend of mine pointed out two years ago that they are starting to "wrap up" major plotlines and it is true. Think about it. We got the ultimate "pick on Meg" story which saw her ultimately picking on her family, they've dealt with the Brian/Lois storyline conclusively, they did the ultimate "Stewie kills Lois" bit and rarely mention this anymore, they gave the Evil Monkey's origin, Brian's finally written a book, etc, etc. There's not much left to do. As for Brian and Stewie, eh. They are funny together but I think they need the whole cast to define them. |

I'd watch it!
And with "Family Guy"...they have to 1-up "The Simpsons" every time which is VERY hard to do, but it was plausible when "Family Guy" came around. I think both "The Simpsons" and "Family Guy" will both be canceled at the same time. |

I would watch the spin off involving stewie and brian, I did tune into the cleveland show but I am already tuned out. I think you can come up with several new storylines for each character, the tale of a good writing crew is reinventing the characters after they become stale.

No way! All the show ever does is give Brian and Stewie adventures. In a way, they already have a spin off.
