The lost Pilot
HAs anyone else seen the lost Pilot of I Love Lucy- on season 1 disc 1. What did you think. I missed seeing the Mertzes.

i have all 194 episodes on DVD. I do like the pilot episode, but i think it would have been better, if it was actually a "pilot" episode. A pilot episode is supposed to introduce the storyline of the show. I would have like it better, if it had shown a newly wed couple that need a nice place to live, and for cheap. So they move in the apartment at 623 East 68th St. And then, it would show how the Ricardos and Mertzs developed a friendship. Then, the first episode that aired on TV, would make more sense and have a flow with the storyline. Or, since the pilot episode didnt air, the first episode that aired on TV, could have has the storyline of them moving in. Then, the 2nd episode, would have been "Lucy thinks Ricky is trying to murder her".
