TV Guide ad for Honeymooners 35th Anniversary Special, 1990

While browsing a blog I found about our local TV market last night, I came across an ad from TV Guide's November 10, 1990 airing of The Honeymooners 35th Anniversary Special hosted by Audrey Meadows. The "close-up" of the special was also included, and mentions "Quiz Show" and "Lost Baby" as being "unearthed by a New York kinescope collector." Just something interesting and fun I thought I'd share with everyone. Enjoy!

By the way, anyone in the Northwest Ohio/Southeast Michigan area should check out this site. It is great with all the old ads for TV shows and local stations, including the Detroit and Toledo markets!

And how very interesting it is. I remember reading somewhere that those two sketches were held back initially because they weren't in the greatest shape, and were then later "repaired" and released on home video. This ad makes it seem more like the shows were actually missing until this collector provided MPI with his copies.
