Matlock, which debuted in the fall of 1986, will be celebrating its Silver Anniversary in 2011. Here's an early Happy Anniversary to all cast members, crew, creative talent, and all fans!
As we know, the show went through numerous cast changes. But all of these actors contributed very well and the result was a series that never really became stale, serving as a showcase for their many talents. Everyone from Andy Griffith on down should be very proud of the quality work they did. Once the show "gelled," it was among the best of its time. Matlock was a courtroom drama that stretched into dramedy at times and even touched upon the music world. The series' unique qualities, appealing cast, and high production values have endeared it to me and I'm certain numerous other fans. |
