Why are there so many celebrity editions - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Of the daytime version of "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?".It seems like every other week is a celebrity tournament week.Just curious.

One possibility is that ratings are declining and the producers decided to boost ratings with more celebrity editions. To me, that's usually the kiss of death-Think Password and Bullseye.
