FOX to Air 'BOB’S BURGERS' Preview Thanksgiving Night

FOX hopes it has the antidote for your Thanksgiving turkey coma. The network has announced it will air a special exclusive preview of its upcoming animated series BOB’S BURGERS during its world broadcast premiere of The Simpsons Movie that night.

Bob’s Burgers, about a man, his family, and a burger joint, will be joining FOX’s Sunday “Animation Domination” block in January. It will follow the adventures of Bob (H. Jon Benjamin, Archer) as he runs Bob’s Burgers with the help of his family. He has big ideas about his burgers, but his business management and customer service tend to be lax.

Joining Bob are his wife Tina (John Roberts, The Tree), who supports Bob’s dream but is tiring of the lean times; oldest daughter Tina (Dan Mintz, Important Things with Demetri Martin), a 13-year- old hopeless romantic with minimal social skills; son Gene (Eugene Mirman, Aqua Teen Hunger Force) an aspiring musician who serves up more jokes than burgers; and youngest daughter Louise (Kristen Schaal, Flight of the Conchords), whose off-balance sense of humor makes her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen despite her enthusiasm for the business.

Beyond the restaurant is a city rich with character. Right next door to Bob’s is the It’s Your Funeral Home and Crematorium; down the street is WonderWharf, the oceanside amusement pier; and a few blocks away is Wagstaff Middle School, where Bob and Linda’s kids go to school; and across the street is Jimmy Pesto’s Pizzeria, Bob’s Burgers’ main competition and the thorn in Bob’s side.

Bob’s Burgers will premiere on FOX in January, and the exclusive sneak peek will air Thursday, November 25 during FOX’s airing of The Simpson’s Movie, which begins at 8pm/7 central.

Great to hear... Know it's worth watching The Simpsons Movie yet again... Like i havn't seen it enough times on FX already....

for the exception of the simpsons, i've never been a huge fan of fox's other animated shows.

but bob's burgers sounds pretty interesting. i'll give this one a watch for sure.
