Default Anyone else having BAD service with Amazon?

I am experiencing unusually bad service with Amazon lately. I ordered another dvd along with the Leave It To Beaver set on Nov. 3 and my order has yet to ship to me. And both items are listed as "in stock". Has anyone else had this kind of trouble with Amazon?

My last order was lost and they issued a refund. Now, they can't seem to get to the shipping stage. Yet, delivery estimate is set for a few days from now. How can that be when the order has yet to be filled? So weird.

I order quite a few items from them with Prime shipping. Most of the time there is no problems. Some items arrive damaged due to their poor packaging. They are good with returns and refunds.

They usually ship items as they are available unless you check that you want everything shipped together.

I've always gotten excellent service from Amazon.

I've never had a problem with Amazon. I'm not picky about delivery dates (like, I'm not gonna die if I don't get something the day it's released, that sort of thing). I have had instances where I received my stuff before I even got an email saying it had been shipped out.

I like the convenience of, and will continue shopping with Amazon. I've never had any problems whatsoever with shipping. My last item actually arrived a day earlier than they said. I'm not crazy about the ordering process, however. I find the webpage confusing and not very user-friendly. There are too many 'hoops' to jump through. On my last order, I almost had my item shipped to the wrong address through a slight oversight.

Hmmmm, so I wonder why they are picking on my orders. This is my 3rd order and they have yet to give excellent service by any means. I contacted them and they pretty much said I have to wait and they'll get to it.

Funny thing is I, specifically, chose to pay for shipping thinking it would make a difference and it is almost 10 days to when I placed the order and still they have not shipped out my dvd-set. And both items were "in stock". Something is fishy here. I'd rather pay a bit more and get better service. I think amazon has done quite enough to convince me I should order elsewhere.

I have to deal with international shipping and Amazon have never let me down. I've ordered 100s of dvds for many years from them. Once a dvd set never arrived back in 2004, but Amazon were quick to replace it.

Anyway hope your orders get sorted out. I suppose no business can have a 100% track record.

I haven't experienced any trouble recently, but I've had a couple orders "hang" like that in the past. It's very annoying. The weird thing is that if I use my Amazon Credit Card, even with free shipping, I receive my orders faster.

Default One problem with Amazon

I have ordered many TV DVD's from amazon.com over the years and have been satisfied with the results. Around Christmas 2007 or '08, I ordered season's 5-9 of M*A*S*H. Season's 5, 6, 7 and 9 were correct except for season 8. When I opened the season 8 package, all I got were season 1 discs!!! So, I returned the package with the incorrect discs and got M*A*S*H season 8 with the correct season 8 discs at no charge. Everything else is good with Amazon.

Me too.

I order from England to Italy, they usually send the order in one week max 10 days.

Not being an 'anglophone', I think they could do only one thing better: specify if there are subtitles in the dvd.
But usually people write it in the comments, so not a big problem so far

I've switched to Barnes & Noble. I've placed several orders with them over the past few weeks and they have been just wonderful. I seem to be the only one who had trouble with Amazon. I gave them one last shot and they totally goofed up my order. So I'm avoiding them in the future.

Whatever works for you. I'm not loyal to one site, I always just buy from the cheapest place I can find. I do like Amazon for their no tax added on, but other than that I think they're exactly the same as everyone else.
