I have the e-mail that proves this.

"Hello,

Thank you for your note to MPI.

We have requested the additional non-musical sketches of the Honeymooners from the 1966-70 Jackie Gleason Show but the Gleason estate has chosen to not make the material available at this time.

Hopefully that situation will change in the future. In the meantime, we are releasing the final Honeymooners program ever made this December on DVD - the Honeymooners Christmas Special from 1978.

I wonder if MPI did request the additional non-musical sketches or if this is a lie.

& of course this is the wrong title to this special they are releasing....
But what else is new.... MPI releasing wrong thing with wrong titles.

It seems odd that the Gleason estate has decided to make the material unavailable to MPI. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the reasons may be?
