Try checking your local library for the Honeymooners on DVD.

Did Columbia House offer a deal where you could buy 10 VHS tapes of your choice for .01 like they do for their music CDs?

When I was younger I ordered a lot of CDs from Columbia House and it was fun listening to all the music until the bill came and reality set in.

If your library doesn't have the Honeymooners on DVD you can ask them to check their computer for all the libraries in your state that does have it. Once they find a place that has what your looking for it will be sent to your local library for you to check out. You could even make this type of request over the phone.

If you can't find the Honeymooners DVD at Goodwill then Amazon would be the best place to buy it from.

This sounds like a really good idea. I've found things at the library I never thought would be there like a 2nd Season (early) DVD of Saturday Night Live and S#1 of Father Knows Best. I bet someone could put in a reserve for something by the Honeymooner's at the Lib & they would have it. And you get to watch it for free. (As long as you don't return it late!)

Before I buy a DVD I always check to see if any libraries in my state have it and most of the time they do. All of this is done online at home. It's a technique I use that saves me a lot of $$$.
