Antenna TV is close to a deal for carriage on Comcast Cable in the NY/NJ Metropolitan Area, unfortunately those with Time Warner Cable & CableVision start preparing to get the attenna's out if you wish to see Antenna TV from launch on January 1, 2011! I am sorry but I am unable to name my source.....but wanted to pass on this info.

Cablevision never picks up anything from the start. I guess I have to buy a digital antenna and also a digital converter for my set as well.

Yes but it looks like it won't be at launch, but now in addition to Comcast, Time Warner Cable says it will be "most likely" in the first quarter.

They won't commit to anything except "first quarter" plus by FCC law, all channel additions/deletions need to be posted anywhere (even if its only the weather channel crawl) to notify the public 90 days in advance, but many times this is overlooked. I wish you luck, but I am setting up a exclusive TV with recordable device tomorrow and see what happens...I am worried about not getting much of a signal...with digital it usually is all or nothing, I don't really have any line of sight and no roof antenna. I'll have a TV ready for WPIX 11.4. But have you tried ivi TV also? www.ivi.tv They have Me-TV, Me-Too and RTV on there. Possibly Antenna TV as well come Saturday. I'll find out.

TeeVeCloset, we finally got THIS tv around Dec. 1 (on ch. 250). But I never saw a notice for it and just found it on the guide one day. Did you know about this one?

No that's great for you, because I only really pay attention to my cable company Time Warner Cable in the metro area......and to the other poster, Queens would be included if TW negotiates a deal for carriage of Antenna TV.

Got a rumbling that Comcast of Union, NJ is adding Antenna TV on Jan. 25. Anyway you can find any truth to that? I have contacted Antenna TV and Comcast corp, so hopefully they know.

I'll make a few calls and see what I can find out my good nj buddy! I'll need a few days because all the cable executives are off this week.
