Default The Worse Cowboys Team I've Ever Seen

In my 36 years as a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, I have never seen a bunch of losers like this. Even the 1988 and 1989 teams tried to win. The players on this team just quit. I just saw Wade's news conference. I've been calling on him to get replaced for at least 3 years now but I felt sorry for him. How can you win with these bunch of idiots? Honestly, there's only a handful of players I actually like. It's disgusting. I wouldn't be surprised if Wade was fired this week. The Cowboys aren't even competitive anymore. I wouldn't be surprised if the Giants scored 60 points on us next week. I think a lot of the players need to go too.

I could have a field day with this, but i won't be classless and bash another persons team, unlike another poster here. That said, I agree with you Sonny. I don't know the answer for the cowboys. They just can't seem to play as a team.

They need to clean house, starting with the coaching staff, the entire staff. Draft a quality Qb and get some ppl on defense who can stop a team. Dallas should play for the draft and trade a few big name players.

At least Coach Cupcake has left the building finally. I feel sorry for him as a person but he had to go. Some of these players need to go with him.

Yea I agree. I know alot of fans are content with Romo but I think it's time to find a successor. It doesn't mean Romo has to go right now but if you can get a top qb in the draft, you have to take it. I'll say it. Romo is a good qb but he's not a good leader. I don't think this team has any real leaders on it.

I was calling for his firing weeks ago, but now it's just sad.

To be honest I was calling for his Phillips firing after the loss to the Giants in the playoffs 3 years ago.

It's time to work on getting Cowher or Gruden- I don't care what they do with Garrett, even if they rattle off a few wins.

Stop screwing around Jerry Jones. You WILL absolutely lose me if Garrett is the coach next year.

I sure can understand how you feel. This organization is a long way from the one we grew up with when Tom Landry was head coach. I never wanted Wade as the head coach. It was disgusting that the only choices were him or Norv Turner. I still say that a young coach will never succeed in Dallas as long as Jerry runs the team. The only ones he will respect are coach's who have won in the NFL.

I haven't heard one way or another but others over on the Zone say they've heard it. Some don't think he's a great coach but he made Oakland a contender with Al Davis as owner and he won a SB with Brad Johnson as QB. That says alot. TB never had great qb's and they were a good team through most of his years there. I know he doesn't take any crap and that's what this team needs.

That made me sick when Turner and Phillips were the only choices.
At that point I thought we got the lesser of two evils, so to speak.
I have no idea what would have happened with Turner, but I don't think he would have taken the Cowboys to the Super Bowl.

Is that Dave Campo in your avatar with Phillips?
I know he is the secondary coach with Dallas but seeing that image brings up more bad memories.
Too funny.

I don't think they are as bad as their record indicates. 5 of their losses were by 7 points or less. They could very easily be 4-4. It was time for a coaching change, though, after their playoff failures. A Gruden or Cowher would help.
