Default A couple of season 6 oddities

Just saw the first 2 episodes of season 6 today.
I wonder why they waited so long to have teasers?
The laugh track was very subdued as well. It appeared to be used about half as much as previous seasons.

First off, lol, I'm a little late on finding this so I apologize for that. Second, I think the sixth season just kind of sits out by itself. By this time the show had ran out of most of the good ideas. Also most of the characters were over exaggerated to the point where it could start to get annoying, for example Hank Kimball could not remember anything at all, Lisa's intelligence level was brought down to that of a two year old's and Oliver's temper had gotten so short that I wouldn't have been surprised if he had yelled at the wind.

Its still Green Acres and it still has its moments, but the sixth season was the one that completely went down hill. They just ran out of ideas and tried taking what was popular and using it even more.

It also has a completely different feel to it though. You could tell that it had just gone from the sixties to the seventies. Lisa no longer always wore dresses but was wearing the pants suits. There are probably some other examples, but I can't think of any right now.

I do like the kids from the city though. I think I might be the only Lori fan here. I've read places that others don't like her mutch. It really did go downhill though!

Haha I thought Lori was cute. It was kind of a "what if" story, letting us see what it would be like if Oliver and Lisa had had a daughter. But yeah, it went downhill after that. Not because of Lori, but just because they ran out of things to do after Lori left.
