Default Donova Mcnabb was benched with 1:21 left in the game down 25-31 for..........

REX GROSSMAN???????????????-LOL

I will say Mcnabb has been playing below average this entire month but he should have been abl to finish the last drive. Rex grossman comes in and gets sack, fumbles nd the final score

38-25

Mike Shanahan may get ROASTED for that dumb ass move

LOL@Solomon hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Rex Grossman is a scrub. The Redskins are pathetic. This is the 2nd time they've lost to Detroit. They lost to them last year when Detroit had a 19 game losing streak hahahahaha. I'll be surprised if the Redskins make the playoffs this year and i don't think Donovan Mcnabb is gonna get a contract extension because he's been inconsistent so far.

Shanahan had to realize that he opened up a can of worms with that move.

Regardless if the Redskins won or tied- not to mention lose, which they did- what do you tell everyone about your QB situation.

Now you've got a pissed starting QB and a crappy backup who shouldnt be in there at all. Where do you go from here?

Well, the Donovan McNabb era in D.C. is unofficially over....

Shanahan tried to say that Grossman has a "better grasp" of the two-minute offense than McNabb does? Did they just pick up McNabb last week? Did I miss something? How long has McNabb been with the team? I thought they traded for him during the off-season, and that he's been there since the spring.

This is too funny.

Wonder if Shanahan thinks McNabb might be a little, oh, how you say, "overrated"?

I have to defend shanhan because mcnabb has been throwing too many interceptions the last two weeks and they been in the 4th qtr. You can't do that as a veteran QB

His next game against the eagles will have to be huge

I disagree with you Solomon. What Shanahan did to McNabb was wrong. There was 2 minutes left in the game and he should've left him in there because the game was almost over. McNabb is a much better qb than Grossman. Grossman is a joke LOL. I don't think the Redskins will win anymore games LOL. They might beat Dallas again but that's it. It's really sad that they can't beat Detroit.
