Mel Sharples should have gotten a spinoff of Alice after it left the airwaves

Mel has move from Arizona to Las Vegas for better pastures after his diner was sold and has found a job in a casino in Las Vegas as an executive chef in a major restaurant.

Interesting concept, I am not sure if it would have worked or not, but it certainly would be interesting to see.

i think he should have had a spinoff too it would have been fun to see what happend to mel after selling the diner and striking it rich

Why would he get a spinoff and he was one of the main characters on the show? You know the Diner was called Mel's Diner right?

Because he was the most popular character, besides alice and flo.

It was sorta part his show anyway I know a lot of people called it Mel's Diner instaead of Alice.

Here's how the pilot of the spinoff of alice works
it takes place after the alice tv show ended

mel sharples has sold the diner to a developer and the rest of them moved on to better things, while mel has decided that he had enough of Phoenix, AZ and move to las vegas for a job as a chef in a Las Vegas, NV at the las vegas hilton.
and the rest is history.

Location: Filmed in Las Vegas and on Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, CA.
