There is no doubt that there was chemistry between the two. Would it have been better if the writers explored a possible Schneider/Ann romance instead of marrying Ann off to Sam Royer?

The whole premise of the series was Ann as a single mother so I think they should have just left her single.

I mean, there's "single mom", and then there's "old maid".
